Summer Loving: Event and Wedding Flowers
We’ve been loving the revival of the tropical flowers and foliage trend. For us, it was massive back in 2015 and went hand in hand with geo styling for weddings flowers and designed lots of fun celebrations and event flowers. This time around we have tried to put a twist on our recent tropical floral and foliage installations by using oversized enormous tropical leaves such as Alocasia and teaming them with big British flowers and foliage’s.
Here’s some images from one of our big tropical events to mark Perrier’s launch of its new apple and lemon water over in our fave East London Warehouse in Shoreditch.
We’ve also been loving celebrating the love with our wedding flowers, and have some amazing couples wedding days under our belt this year already. We’re about to embark on the second half of the summer wedding season and that is marked by the end of every brides favourite, the peony, and now to move onto the use of other beautiful blooms!
We went foliage crazy for Antonia and Ronan, as the groom was allergic to flowers. These guys treated us like family with wedding flower planning meals at their house to make sure we covered all basis for their wedding back in May at The Grange down in Southampton. We used purple tones coupled with whites and loads of olive foliage to draw back to their heritage. More to follow.
Maytal and Eddies wedding reception was an extravaganza of colourful playful flowers to create a luxe day with a mega suspended foliage wall installation sat behind the top table. These guys had a city wedding with the reception in a warehouse over at Trinity Bouy Wharf. Thanks to Liz Linkleter events for designing and project managing the day. Foxgloves, peonies, dahlia to name but a few ingredients all from our favourite suppliers at New Covent Garden Market. More to follow.
